About

Patrick Connelly, a Seattle based printmaker and filmmaker, has been creating movie inspired linocuts for over 10 years. He uses the printmaking medium to explore the visual themes in film.

His film work focuses on direct application animations.  This involves hand manipulating strips of film by scratching, hand painting, and other various processes.  His films have been shown in festivals domestically and internationally.

He is represented by Columbia City Gallery (https://columbiacitygallery.com/artists/patrick-connelly/) and is the recipent of the 2022 Seattle Print Arts / Pratt Partner Grant.
